Bill Lattanzi is an
award-winning writer, producer, director and editor for documentary television,
the web, and the stage. His proven track record in non-fiction
programming includes many shows for major cable networks Discovery,
History, National Geographic and more. In varied roles of producer,
writer, and editor, Bill has worked on over 20 national PBS documentaries,
several Emmy-nominated. These include Victory in the Pacific, Reagan, Chicago, Spy in the Sky, Nixon’s China Game, and Ulysses S. Grant for American Experience, and, for Nova, The
Lost Tribe, Special Effects: Titanic and Beyond, and Great Moments from Nova. For Powderhouse Productions, Bill was the
showrunner for Season 4 of Extreme Engineering, casting and directing Discovery host Danny
Forster. He also created the innovative video and blog
website, Shoetube.tv. Bill’s taught at Brandeis and
Bentley Universities, and worked in the theater as writer, director,
teacher and festival co-creator (Boston Theater Marathon). He holds a Masters degree in Creative
Writing from Boston University and a BA in philosophy from Connecticut College.
And he once had a stint working for Woody Allen. Bill lives outside
Boston with his wife, the child psychologist Dr. Martha Vibbert, and their two
sons.

Expedition Apocalypse: Recent scientific expeditions to Siberia may have finally solved the mystery of history’s largest explosion, the Tunguska event of 1908.
